Energy, confidence, humanity: three things Christian Larocque exudes in spades. A man of head and heart, Christian is a reassuring presence bringing stability and reliability.

Christian joined the Umanico family in 1994 as director of the industrial branch, then became a partner in 1997. His experience, combined with that of Daniel Boyer, allowed Umanico’s revenue to explode in just a few years. Beyond the figures, however, Christian’s goal has always been to have a positive and meaningful impact on the professional lives of the people who put their trust in the company.

Christian is an active member of his community and is generous with his time. He knows that a placement firm is not merely an intermediate between a candidate and a company. He has been on the board of the Association of Canadian Search, Employment and Staffing Services (ACSESS) for several years and sought to have industry practices evolve. Christian is focused on the candidate experience at Umanico: providing them solid training and quality support makes all the difference in the field.

In 2010, Christian Larocque obtained CPC accreditation. In 2014, he received National recognition for his work as an executive member in the Québec chapter; in 2015, it was selected Chapter of the Year. Christian was a trainer for the CPC’s National accreditation from 2010 to 2015.
